Ice Rescue - Technician Level

Ice Rescue Technician Level training is the next level of training for graduates of our Operations Level course. The Technician level goes into more direct contact rescue scenarios, scene command scenarios and advanced equipment use, maintenance and staging. All participants should be strong, comfortable swimmers. 

A written test as well as a practical skills test will be given .

Be prepared for both practical and classroom sessions on both days.

Each day is 10 hours long and runs from 8am to 6pm.

Location:

Meet at Swift Response for in-class portion.  Hands on training will take place at Frenchman's Bay.

Prerequisite:

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Completion of Operations Level Course with Swift Response within past 2 years.

Instructor:

Swift Response instructors are made up of experienced military, fire, and veteran rescuers who know the ins and outs of proper rescue procedures and techniques, providing real world training for real life situations. Safety is our top priority.

Certification:

Swift Response certification confirming completion and demonstration of the skills under NFPA 1006
