Refund/ Rescheduling/Deposit Policy

Our refund policy is that you may cancel your course reservation and receive a full refund if your request is submitted and received via email at info@swiftresponse.ca with 20 days or more between your cancellation request and the original date of the course. If you register for a course with less than 20 days between the date of the course and the date you register, you are not eligible for a refund.

All refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee. 

If you need to reschedule and you provide notice to us prior to your course start time, we will reschedule you to a later date. If you need to reschedule more than once, a 50% course fee charge will be applied to subsequent reschedulings.

If you arrive for the in-class portion of a blended course, you must show proof of completion of the online component to be able to complete the course. If proof of completion is not provided, you will need to reschedule to a later date so you can first complete the online component. Rescheduling fees may apply if this is not the first time rescheduling.

If you do not provide notice prior to the class start time (i.e. you are a no-show to the course you registered for), you may be subjected to a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the course fee. Subsequent no-shows will result in forfeiting any credits you have with us.  Please note that you must attend 100% of your course to be able to be issued a certificate. If you are not able to attend the full course, you will need to contact our office to reschedule. 

Please note that it is Red Cross Policy that you must attend 100% of your course.  Late arrivals will not be admitted.

If you register for a course by paying a registration deposit, you have the option to cancel your reservation and receive a refund if you share your cancellation request with more than 20 days between the date your cancellation request is received and the first day of the selected course. To continue to hold your reservation, you must pay the remaining balance of the full course fee 20 days prior to the course start date. 

Swift Response reserves the right to cancel a course if required, and if this occurs, will provide a full refund for payments made for the course that is cancelled.
