This is the comprehensive combined intense Operations Technician level course for inland, open bodies of water: lakes, ponds and basic flood response. Following the NFPA protocol.
This program is hands on, covering shore based assisted rescues and covers navigation and human propulsion of paddle powered specifically designed inflatable water rescue craft in contact and tethered rescues. Further technical rescues in real time scenarios using floating rescue evacuation baskets boards and rescue collars with contact swim rescues are also practiced.
All participants should be competent swimmers and in good health.
