About the CPR and AED Recertification Course:

The CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) training provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Prerequisite

Current CPR certification with a WSIB recognized provider.

Instructor        

All Swift Response courses are taught by field - experienced instructors, trained at an advanced level. All instructors are certified by the Canadian Red Cross.

Completion   

Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps;
100% attendance and participation; 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.

Certification    

3 year certification in CPR Level C from the Canadian Red Cross.
